About Us

Brief Note of Organization

Mahila Mandali a non-Government and non-profit organization, based at chirala, Andhra Pradesh was established on 3rd February 1961 and registered at the district registrar of societies, Guntur under the societies registration act of 1860. With the registration No. 5/1961. The organization is rendering services to different segments of society. The above activities have been continued, on generations to come. It was also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India under the foreign contribution regulation act(FCRA) dated. Mahila Mandali, Chirala is conduction several activities of women & Child Welfare, Old Age Home, Family Counselling Center, AIDs Awareness & Care & Support of AIDs patients, Women & welfare & aged welfare of downtrodden people.

The Chirala Mahila Mandali was the borne child of few enthuatic Women group of Chirala town & surrounding slum area villages in the year 1952. It has been registered 3rd February 1961, District society registrar of Guntur, Registered under the societies registration Act 1860 with its registration No. 5/1961. The origination rendered services in deferent segments of society in the year 1961, under the guidance and supervision of Smt.J.L.Padmavathi, who is the dynamic and Social worker & member of the society. She has taken several steps in Health and Hygienic, Women Economic, and Rehabilitation of Women and Child supporting of all Women activities, especially Elder women destitute persons in the society, with the co-operation & co-ordination of the officials of the state as well as Central. The Mahila Mandali has secured a scheme in the year 1965 and taken all the needed steps for the development of poor and needy working women, the area separated with the guidance of women & child welfare Dept. and Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment Govt. of India and Executive Body members of our Mahila Mandali.

Our primary objective is to improve lives and livelihoods of women in rural parts of India.

We dedicate our time and effort to empower women to have a better standard of life.

Our efforts are focused towards teaching women relevant skills to become employable, providing access to healthcare in remote areas, helping them lead a happier life by resolving family disputes and empowering women to uplift their family and community.
